Important notice when travelling in the Aosta Valley
From 1 May 2024, we inform you that a city tax will be charged in Valle d’Aosta.
The costs in Valtournenche are:
In high season, this tax costs two euros per night per person.
In low season, the cost is one euro per night per person. (stays between May 1st
and June 15th and between October 1st and November 30th)
Children under the age of 15 are exempt from paying this tax.
Exemptions are available for those who stay for more than seven consecutive
days, starting from the eighth day of an overnight stay.
These measures have been adopted to promote accessible and responsible
tourism, while enhancing the natural and cultural beauty of the region.
We assure you that the tourist tax is a fair and equitable way to contribute to the preservation
and development of our beautiful region.
